Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) is a term mainly used to describe three conditions namely Ulcerative Colitis, Crohn’s Disease and Microscopic Colitis. These are chronic conditions that involve inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract. MC is the most recently recognised condition to be classed as IBD and it has become increasingly recognised over the last few years as a common condition.
The incidence of liver diseases in the developed world has increased significantly over the past decades. Dr Falk Pharma focuses on autoimmune liver diseases such as Primary Biliary Cholangitis, Autoimmune Hepatitis and Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis.
